Brewery Vivant Farm Hand French Style Farmhouse Ale at Miller’s Pub in Chicago. A 1 of 4. Almost cider-like, and incredibly highly carbonated. Definitely would not think of this as a farmhouse ale, and at 5% and such clarity in the body, there is very little yeast complexity to speak of. Some almost grape-like sweetness and light bready malt notes and a strong crispness. Ok to drink, but I’m not a fan.
